Pre-Requisites


All students must have held an unrestricted "C" Class license for at least two years.


- Become a driving instructor
- Get your heavy vehicle licence

Be 21 years or over and hold a full driver's licence (not learner, provisional, probationary or restricted) of the relevant class for at least three years during the four-year period immediately prior to your application for an instructor's licence.

If you are thinking of becoming an Assessor, you will need to successfully complete Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
